Alexine
This perfume is a tribute to the wreckless and adventurous drive of the 19th century young women called Alexine Tinne. She traveled to Cairo and put up a 700 people expedition to find the origines of the Nile. Together with her mother and aunt they sailed up to the inlands of Egypt and Sudan. To never find them. Both her mother and Aunt died, but that didn't break her spirits. Se eventually with her maker during another expedition to find a route through the Sahara Desert. When her expedition was overthrown and she was killed by the stroke of a dagger.
This perfume combines jasmine with resin notes, a watery background and animalic undertones.
